Which is your top coffee shop recommendation with a central-ish location?

I've been to Caffeine & Co, and North Tea Power. Anything else as good as those? Do you rate Grindsmiths?

Best coffee I've found in town, so far, is at the Rapha shop. Behind St Ann's church.

Apparently it isn't a shop, it is a cycle club. But if you can fight your way past that pretentious concept, and up the flight of stairs you'll find coffee. And cake.

Fig n Sparrow on Oldham Street, I stumbled into while sheltering from the Manchester rain and looking for somewhere else. Coffee that dares to have a taste. Blew my socks off and fondly remembered ...

Oh yes, I love Fig and Sparrow! And Oldham Street is the best street in the city as far as I'm concerned - so many fab vintage shops, boutiques and record shops The perfect Arndale Centre antidote.
