This isn't Prince's best vocal performance, it's true. But anyone who thinks he can't sing should listen to Adore from the classic Sign of the Times. I haven't heard a better vocal performance in half a century of listening. The fact he is a bit odd doesn't really bother me.

I'm not particularly a fan of his music, but as you raised his sexuality, if he is gay, he has hid it well, what with being married three times and being romantically linked with dozens of famous and beautiful women.
