Did Central gully today (should really have backed off ) deep powder snow so waided most of the way up. top was firmming up due to wind chill, needs some more freeze and thaw, dont think it will be mutch better at weekend theres more snow in the forcast.

I'm guessing he thought it might avalanche if it was deep powder and getting steeper.
