Uisdean on Crusade, 3 kbIain Small and Uisdean Hawthorn have continued to make the most of the Scottish winter season with a significant first repeat of Crusade (VII,8) on Church Door Buttress, Bidean nam Bian, in Glen Coe.

In all honesty I'm surprised that a boy as chubby as Uisdean, climbing grade VII, didn't make national headlines.

As first ascended in 2005 by Sam on-spec, on-sight, probably wearing really blunt shovel crampons and leashed straight-shaft axes...
