How do you prefer watching movies: onsight or with beta?

Personally I'm a big fan of the onsight, as in climbing - beta such as length, plot, and twists in the tail take something away from the unknown of the experience for me. However I don't mind knowing the star rating if it's not been recommended by a friend, and it's also nice to know if it might leave me mentally scarred so I can consider avoiding, or save it for when I'm feeling strong.

Is it just me?

Maybe I'm a bit strange but before every single movie I read the entire Wikipedia entry ['Plot'] and so know the entire story beforehand. I just really like it that way, and enjoy the movie more.

I retro-flashed Top Gun last week.
Really enjoyed it.
