Have just moved from Scotland to North Devon, to say it's a bit different here would be a massive understatement!

Which is the best indoor wall in the Barnstaple area? The only wall I've been able to find any information is Rock and Rapid, what's it like there?

Apart from that, you've got the Barn http://www.barnclimbingwall.co.uk/index.php (my favourite) 1+ hours drive away and The Quay http://www.quayclimbingcentre.co.uk/ in Exeter.

Ok thanks Mark. Went to Rock and Rapid last night, looks ok for a few visits but a bit on the small side. Guess I've been spoilt by TCA Glasgow!

It is small, as is the Barn. For longer routes, you would need to go to the Quay, for quality bouldering and interestingly set routes (although not that long), the Barn is your best bet. A number of people from the Barnstaple area come to the Barn fairly often, they must think that it's worth the longer drive.
