A couple of hours in good weather (sun and a drying breeze). Not quite a quick as slate dries, but still fairly quick.
Even though the Roaches gets green, this is a rarely a problem so long as it is dry and green (as opposed to damp and green), since on most of the traveled routes the holds that one uses are kept clean by use.
