Not in the news but pretty significant I'd say: Shauna Coxey has done another font 8b, Ropes of Maui, in Llanberis. Although she's climbed this grade before (8b+ in fact) I think this is the hardest female ascent in the UK.

Don't know who is responsible for the UKC news but I think they need a bit of kick. This is a major news item.

I think there's still only around 10 women worldwide who have even climbed this grade.

Amazing. As much as I like watching the bouldering comp videos that Shauna competes in.. this is so much better. Inspiring stuff
