Five Brits through to the Swiss semi finals

Looks like there will be 5 Brits in tomorrow's IFSC Bouldering semi finals. Ty Landman and Dave Barrans in the male category. The female qualification is still going but looks like Shauna, Leah and Michaela are through.

Great effort Team GB.

The highest number of Brits in a World Cup semi final since ... ??

The women's result is particularly impressive. All 3 are in the top 7, all higher than Miho Nonaka, Janja Garnbret, Fanny Gibert and Anna Storr.

Hope they can keep the momentum going tomorrow. Amazing result.

Probably never had this many. Back in the day when Ned, Dave and Stew were getting to semis regularly (and even finals) we weren't doing so well with the women, Diane would get to the occasional semi but no other women. And then the guys started falling off (literally!) once we started getting the likes of Mina and Shauna into semis on a regular basis.
