Wouldn't normally do this, but really struggling for work at the moment, i am a rope access level one, stage 3 rigger and have all my offshore certs for the wind industry and oil and gas. Does any one have any contacts, or work going at the moment, i have called and emailed hundreds of companies but don't seem to be getting any where. I live in the highlands of Scotland but would be willing to travel. Cheers everyone.

Join the facebook groups, there was a company looking for ops in Glasgow only a couple of days ago.

Forget anything to do with offshore at the moment, even people with many years experience are being laid off because of the low oil prices, so concentrate in the onshore companies with stuff like window cleaning, etc.

Loads of peope swear by linkedin, but after a few attempts i really can't figure out how it works, and all i've achieved is for it to send linkedin "connect" invitations to pretty much everyone that was in my mail-box...
