I am thinking of heading up to Skye for a few days early this week and was wondering if there would be much snow affecting either the ridge traverse or the approaches to routes in Coire Lagan.

Much of the snow has melted, and really, it's only lingering in Coire a Bhastier and Fionn Choire. From brief glimpses a couple of days ago into Coire Lagan, there didn't seem to be any snow patches of note. A bit of snow lying on the Brown Ramp that cuts beneath the Inn Pinn, but it was disappearing fast on Friday. A friend traversed Sgurr a Mhadaidh, Bidein druim na Ramh & An Caisteal a couple of days ago, and said that the crest was snow free.
