Hi, just wondering if anyone has been in the Loch Avon basin recently and can tell me what the crags are looking like for rock climbing? I know they can dry up nicely, particularly south facing ones, when there's still snow around so thinking about gambling on walking in tomorrow.

Thanks in advance!

Hell's Lum will be wet but most of the rest should be dry. But you'd better be quick as the forecast isn't great. Stac an Fharaidh probably wet too. And Coire an Lochain.

I know it only leaves Stag Rocks, Shelter Stone and perhaps some routes in Sneachda.

We ended up on Ardverikie Wall today which was fab, but thanks for the advice; appreciated as always!

Climbed The Needle on Shelterstone last week. Plenty of snow to cross to get to the base of the route, but the rock was in perfect condition.
