Anybody know of any remote access software where I can work with a mate's computer?
I am short on time and can't drive to his house to collaborate on a project.

The Team Viewer website no longer seems to be available.

I use Microsoft and my mate uses apple.

teamviewers twitter account suggests they are having issues with parts of their network

if you don't need it right now then you should be able to use it later

I used to use logmein (secure.logmein.com/ ) to connect to my office PC from a Mac at home and it worked pretty well. Then work upgraded their firewall & it no longer works

Used to use one for my Grandpa's PC, but can't remember what is was - plenty to choose from if you google, anyway

RealVNC works well on Windows, OSX has a built in VNC viewer (app called screen sharing). I regularly log in to my work Mac from home PC and occasionally vice versa.
