Well there must be a great many Russians and Sheikhs who have just lost millions overnight simply in exchange rates due to their 'safe haven' London property investments being priced in a nosediving currency. I suspect many will wait to see where it settles before selling up but equally I wouldn't expect a queue to be forming to buy.

Yes, this is a very salient point. If we are out of Europe, what future will our Stock exchange have??, along with the financial institutions that feed off it's daily movements....

Those chappies in stripey blazers will become as quaint and unimportant as Jam judges at a provincial farm show.

London house are now much cheaper for foreigners, but the price for brits is the same.

This should put a stop to those horrible foreign house buyers pushing up the prices.

No.

1. Now cheaper for foreigners
2. 20% of the housing supply but 25% of the jobs - a balance that won't change fast (until the jobs go that is)
