Currently travelling round europe in my campervan and lookin for my next book to read? Any suggestions?

I have just finished Alex Honnalds bio and Ranaulph Heinnes bio so similar genre to these would be my cup of tea!....

Thanks

K2; savage mountain, savage summer by Jim Barry is a jolly good book. Gives a real insight, feels honest and has a few jokes that wouldn't be printed today!!!

Also by finnes-
Heat
Cold

Cold was very good, all about his adventures in the polar regions. Not started heat yet, got it but just not had time.

Last book I read I couldn't put down- life on air by David Attenborough, very very enjoyable

Fiennes's Captain Scott book is an excellent read, very difficult to put down if you like his style.

More history than bio but Barrows Boys is absolutely brilliant. It's also nautical so maybe completely different from what you're looking for, but I cannot recommend it highly enough.

If you mean One and Two Halves to K2 then I recommend that you read Regions of the Heart for a more nuanced perspective on Alison's life.

He has written both, but Psychovertical and Cold Wars are biographical.

Sandy Allan's account of the Mazeno Ridge is great. (In some lost place)
In reply to Father Noel Furlong:
Just re-read it - a great insight into the expansive empire phase of British history.

Brilliant book, but brutal, savage and disturbing at the same time.

Might not be the ideal holiday read...... depends what the OP wants I suppose!

Read it in one sitting on a long train journey was totally transfixed by it.

Also liked "We need to talk about Kevin"

I've read a couple of Keith Fosketts books about his long distance walking. I can recommend them.
