Line above Riders on the Storm?

I attempted to climb Riders on the Storm on saturday and having had another look at the guidebook I have a feeling that the only bit of the route I climbed was the initial moves off the belay, at which point I stood up on the big jug at the start and began to traverse. My second climbed the initial traverse with his hands on what I was using as footholds (my first indication that I may have been off route). Once I reached Big C (roughly at the centre of this image: https://ukc2.com/i/239460.jpg ) I moved up a couple of metres using a sidepull/ undercut for my left hand (it was halfway between the two), and then did the rising traverse on a line of massive jugs before belaying on the ledge to the left of the pitch so I could see my second (as suggested in the Rockfax guide). Given that I didn't actually make any moves up the corner I'm pretty sure I managed to completely avoid almost every move on the route...
It was still bloomin' brilliant but I'm curious what I actually climbed? It seemed far more logical to me than the line in the Rockfax guide so someone must have made the same series of errors, climbing still felt like HVS so it could possibly be Lucky Find ( http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/c.php?i=95389 ) but that says you go right under some roofs which I definitely didn't do!

Someone asked more or less this last month! http://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?t=645938

Not sure if it was the line you followed, but sounds similar.
