Difficult. Especially if you wish to hit the the 4 hr 10 Mark. The course is brutal and unrelenting. What you would expect really. Having said that you can go 'clean fatigue' with no weight. You get 2hr 30 for that. Its no frills and very rewarding. The army guys are super supportive. Accommodation can be found close by. Early start. Research good boots. I used lowa which were light and generally awesome. Eat at half way.... I pushed on to get in on time and hit the wall at the base of Jacobs ladder. Cue commit and hypoglycaemia and fuzzy brain. I got in at 4hr 25. Loved every minute but would do things differently next time.
