A couple of years back, in the same week I attended gigs by PIL and Tõnu Kaljuste conducting the Estonian Symphony orchestra and choir, doing an evening of Arvo Part.
Earlier this year, in the same week, I saw Stiff Little Fingers, in Sydney, and Choir of Trinity College Cambridge in Canberra.
Last Sunday I saw Bad Manners*, on Friday I'm seeing the Tallis Scholars..
Anyone else had memorable mismatches of gigs?
*Had a pint and a chat with Doug "Buster Bloodvessel" Trendle too, lovely chap. He has lost over 20 stone in weight!
