Interesting watching CNN here in the US and comparing to the UK... No election news blackout here. They get data in from counts in various States on an ongoing basis and show results and make predictions based on, say, 2% of the votes counted and whilst the polls are still open. Seems wrong - surely that could influence how people would vote, and their motivation to vote?
