Come on then who's your climber of the year 2016? Both British and worldwide? So many to choose from but I'd say Coxsey for British climber and Ondra for worldwide.

I'd agree with those choices though Alex Megos would be a close runner up.

For British men maybe Will Bosi. International woman I'd say Janja Garnbret.

climber of the year isn't climbing personality of the year.
your choice seems athletic achievement based, which isn't a bad thing, though not necessarily related to personality..

I never used to follow the UKC forum because it was pretty dull, but now Zimpara has come along and you never know what he's going to come out with next. He's such a numpty.

It is much better to go out and enjoy climbing with friends old and new than to celebrate the character of someone you have never met. If you want that, watch the Kardashians.

His legacy is monumentally bigger than his ability. He climbed VDiff (when E9/8c+ were cutting edge), and we're talking about him a decade later!
