I was reading my year long toilet book 5 minutes ago.

It's called 'Forgotten voices of the Falklands.'

Michael Thomas Nicholson appears numerous times.

His solemn and emotional reporting of the Belgrano sinking ,Sir Galahad bombing ,and the aftermath, was masterful.and unforgettable.

RIP.

He recently bought a handsome classic day boat so he could introduce his grandchildren to sailing. He seemed full of life.

His book, "Across the Limpopo" helped stimulate my interest in African travel and it was great to meet him so many years later.
