Hasn't everyone who has repeated burden used a replica first? Definitely seems to make the process easier

Its not an exact photo, as it was taken before it was cleaned and equipped.  Its the line to the right of the bolts in the photo.

The area runs wet most of the winter, and for days after heavy rain, but we had it dry for most of last summer.

Yeah, you could make a 'tame' version of the route and then slowly make it harder. I could see that being really useful training
