This is the 8th year of the highly acclaimed Kendal Mountain Festival Adventure Film Academy Classic (formerly the Extreme Film School) and a chance to work with some of the top professionals in adventure film making who have worked on many BAFTA and EMMY winning films including Touching the Void.
In the past over 450 people have attended the workshops and 150 made a 2-minute short film. These “shorts” have been shown to huge audiences, such as “Not Permitted” on prime time BBC1, Festivals all over the world including Banff, Telluride and Trento e.g. the '06 winner Kendal's Dark Secret”, and on a variety of web sites such a U Tube where “No Cycling” has received 678,000 views !
