See this news item: Calling UK climbers – Mammut wants you!
We're looking forward to working with these guys throughout 2012 and beyond.
They are:
Cailean Harker, Gloucester
With crags like Wintour's Leap and Symonds Yat on his doorstep it's no surprise that 22 year old Cailean had a great 2011. He's already made a great start to 2012 with a recent ascent of the classic E7 Master's Edge at Millstone. Other climbing highlights to date include several 7c boulder problems including Jerry's Roof, and Brad Pitt.

Jessica McCaskey, Edinburgh
Eighteen year old Jessica McCaskey has been climbing since she was eight. In 2011, she became the youngest Scottish woman to onsight E5 with an ascent of Shapeshifter Direct E5 6a at Rosehearty. At the age of fourteen she 'saw the light' (her words!) and has since focused on onsite ascents of trad routes.

Nathan Lee, Hope Valley
Only one year after his first trad lead, nineteen year old Nathan had onsighted E5 and headpointed E6. He's kept his foot on the pedal with a headpoint of The End of the Affair at Curbar and Underhand Extension at Almscliff. Plans for 2012 notching up his first E9, onsighting E6/7 and a trip to the Mourne Mountains.

Oli Grounsell, Sheffield
Having grown up within a stone's throw of the Peak District, it's no surprise that 17 year old Oli has notched up an impressive gritstone ticklist. Memorable onsights include White Wall E5 6b and Enigma Variations E5 6a and he plans to onsight E6 on grit in 2012. When asked about his future plans, his response was refreshingly simple: “I basically just want to climb as much as I can, in as many places as I can.”
