RSS Feeds Explained
In general you need to get hold of a program called a News Reader. This displays RSS information feeds from your chosen websites on your computer.
All you then have to do is choose which RSS feeds you want, for instance an RSS feed of all the Latest Climbing News from UKClimbing.com.
There are a range of different News Readers available; click to download the best News Readers, many of which are free to use. Some web browsers such as Opera and Firefox have basic news readers built into them.
By using the links provided below. If your News Reader supports it, clicking on an icon will subscribe you to that feed, and notify you when that feed is next updated. If your News Reader doesn't support it then you need to follow the instructions for your particular News Reader in order to add the feed to your RSS list.
Alternatively, if you are using a web browser such as Firefox which supports Live Bookmarks you'll see this icon in the address bar at the top of the browser. Clicking on the icon and selecting an RSS feed will bring up the Add Bookmark dialog to save Live Bookmarks along with your other browser bookmarks. [ read more ]
