Thoroughly unpleasant climb. Intimidating committing moves as well as brutal jamming all the way that left the backs of my hands cut, battered and bruised. All brute strength and ignorance, no technique required on this one. I'll never understand the mentality of gritstone merchants who regard stuff like this as being good quality climbing. Not my cup of tea at all, give me a nice 5B slab any day.

A really interesting climb. Varied with some awkward moves in middle but they just make it feel like a bigger achievement. The top few metres allow you to relax and let it sink in. Somehow I ended up backwards to gain a bulge after twisting for a gear placement - not my most elegant lead.
