Keelhaul VS 4c

Rockfax Description
The hanging flake on the left wall of the groove is approached up a short corner and gives tricky but short-lived laybacking. Choose an exit; care required whichever way you go! Poor. © ROCKFAX

Last climb of the day. Weighted rope after feet slipped under the flake. Would have cleaned this fine with a bit more patience. Route is very easy apart from the flake moves.

Probably the worst grit route I've ever done, and I enjoy Lancashire quarry climbing! God knows how this route gets a star
joe.91 - 2nd O/S - 16/Oct/10 with John Fane, MUMC

Fun but short lived indeed. More mental and physical stress cleaning out the top
