Felt wrong at the crux, reversed to the ledge a couple of times, then went for it. Ended up traversing a bit too high, leading to some out-of-control sketching around way too high off the ground. Did it, but poor decision-making.

absolutely quality climbing. My heel started to shake on the crux traverse, made me more scared but pulled through. thoroughly enjoyed it, but that soon went after we heard the yelp of someone that had just fell off Oedipus...pretty nasty!

Sublime, almost like I was dreaming. Almost onsight but i can't really claim it as two years ago I downclimbed from the ledge before the crux and snuck off onto the ledges on the left. However that didn't detract from the experience in any way. One of the most rewarding climbing experiences I've ever had. Once I committed to the crux I was completely unaware of the potential fall or indeed of anything else around me. I didn't use pads, just a Guinness beer towel as a point to aim for if I fell off!

got a bit confused about the line when I got up there. Obviously i placed the mat in the wrong place! So i got a nice man (who gave me a bit of beta) to move it slightly. Thrilling, just get your foot down once on the crimps to the right, to better than expected pebble line, then across to the nice shelves. Finish is easy.

Had retreated from the crux a couple of times before. For some reason the crimp felt like a jug yesterday, and it felt quite easy! Done from ground up, and much as I would love to claim it was a flash (since i never weighted gear or got rescued or fell!) it really didn't feel like one.
