Enjoyable. Struggled to find protection before stepping out onto the face. There was a cam slot but too big. Had to climb up to find a small cam slot instead. Too short to use the bottom break for my feet. Had to smear across the face but the finger crack was really positive/well protected.

A great climb, quite a hard start but this is the hardest part of the climb, just enjoy the rest. I was laughing all the way up it because the first time we tried it we did not have the right gear and had to come down, but I need not have worried as it was quite easy even by my standards!!

Great climb the start is really tricky for a short stumpy fella like myself, but some foot jamming and a bit of grunt gets you over the boulder. The traverse across is much easier than we thought it would be and after the tricky start the rest of the climb is quite pleasant I was laughing most of the way up because I really thought it would be a struggle.

The start looks hard and it is. Not technical, just hard work! Not been as tall as Steve I had to traverse under the roof on a small ledge rather than the big one, but this was actually easy (once I stopped panicing!) as the hand holds are so good. Nice moves up the slab at the end with that little bit of run out for the leader.

Brilliant! Nice, positive jamming crack to the chockstone. Improbable hand traverse, and surprisingly good gear and holds for the upper slab. A lot of climbing variety in a short route.

Bridged the start up to the chock. Being tall made the move onto the traverse easy (despite g/f's heckling from below). Finishing up the positive, if slopey holds above the roof was the best part of the route for me.

Rating this VS is silly. It should still be VD, but with the realisation that you can either get off the ground or you can't. I'm happy to admit it was a VD I found almost impossible to begin. It took me over an hour to get off the ground, hence the alt leads. Once you've got 20cm off the ground the rest of the climb is easy. Hand traverse is fine, I also did not have feet dangling (5'6"). Being slim and tall will make the start dead easy. It's not one for my fat arse.

Took quite a few attempts to get past the chockstone. Eventually jammed my right foot at the back of the crack and squirmed upwards. Placed gear on the left side of the chimney, there didn't seem to be any on the right side. Feet were dangling on the traverse, which seems a little strange, as my partner says her's weren't, and she's shorter than me. Not sure what was going on there...

Fell off just as I started the traverse and swung all the way across... :P Was a bit shaken, but finished the rest of the climb. Would like to try it again one day when I'm a better climber.

Held an impromptu masterclass on how to do the 4c start! but once you are off the floor, this is a superb route. The traverse looks quite daunting though until you swing around the arete.

Excellent Climb, but a bugger of a start up to the chock stone. Right foot jamat the back of the chimney and then a struggle (foot and back for me) to reach the chockstone. Thereafter pretty clean sailing.
