I think this is the route we attempted, but the guidebook is so vague it's hard to be sure. An initial long (40m) ice pitch led to an easier pitch with some ice steps. Then a long snow pitch finishing just below the upper gully. There was no obvious exit from this cleft, so rather than taking the main ice fall into it, we too the left fork. I tried to find a leftward exit from here, but reached an impasse; a committing exit up blank-looking rock was too bold for me, so I lowered off and we abbed down the route.
