UKC Logbook Description
Straight up the wall between the big hole and the crack taken by St Ivel. One hard move between breaks.

Flash on Sam's gear

Rob Mctague, LUUMC
Didn't use side runners but had good gear in the break - even found an alright nut - not sure it would have kept me off the ground though...
Nice climb! good opposed nuts/microwires give bomber gear in the break to protect the crux...headwall above is simple... just got to fiddle in the wires and commit to the sandstone smears and pray!
|Smelly Fox||26/May/09||Lead O/S||
Fairly dangerous for the grade, although very escapable.
sketchy moves on the slab, above some fairly dubious wires,but essentially a one move wonder. The Gear, which has to be worked at, will probably just keep you off the ground from the top of the crux.But definitely an E2 tick.
Mav and Rose
Guidebook says this is serious even with side runners but Burton got two good (albeit quite unusual) cams in the break. One move wonder.
