Rockfax Description
One of the very best sport routes in the UK. Start to the left of the Cave Route Left-hand crack and climb past numerous bulges to a hard sequence that accesses the headwall. Finish up the headwall via gradually easing moves to a lower-off in the cave. © Rockfax

YYFY. Had a weekend on it in 2013, did it third go today which was well surprising! Skipped the crux clip which really added to it (Ben took some huge lobs!) Really satisfying to climb this so fast. It would be the best route on almost every crag.... (Currently sans foothold. Didn't feel hard for the grade.)

Great climbing Had a go on it yesterday but I was soaking. 2nd go today.

3rd session. A foray onto the sharp end reveals some surprisingly good shake-outs. The moves are an exacting joy. Shame about that nasty clip at the crux - serious rope-around-leg fall potential.

I don't think climbing gets much better than this. Loved the whole process and had the biggest grin on my face climbing through the headwall.

Didn't think I was was gonna get it done (or my draws back) when it turned into a waterfall. Dries quicker than I expected. Awesome!

Bottom-roped after Robin's successful redpoint, belayed by Dale. By far the hardest route I have ever got on. Couldn't reach the top.
