4 pitches. follow summer route, first ascencionists split summer p2 in two on a spike belay on left wall of corner crack (smc journal details). The line is compelling and stunning. Don't forget all the easy ground atop!

Still started wrong - this time direct. Lead direct clean. indeed will up the 1st half of the crux clean. Fell off the 2nd half of the crux before reaching the ridge and abbing off.

Started wrong. Traversed too high. Lead 1st half of crux clean to belay. Backed off the 2nd half of the belay.

Plus Irish Dave. Again grim weather culminating in 100 mph winds and a lot of fun on the descent back to the hut.

Amazing route, great conditions!

Neil Adams 04/Dec/10 AltLd O/S

Great route. Followed the summer description so did P2 in a single (hard, sustained) pitch. Brilliant conditions on the route folowed by a horrendous swim up the ridge to the plateau.
