Late start again so decided to be sensible and head for Cwm Lloer rathre than Clogwyn Ddu (which was on good nick!). Surprisingly good snow, no wading or sinking through. Did some winter 'bouldering' just below the summit of Pen Yr Ole Wen with some moves of tech 4 and 5 above a sloping slope - good training!

In descent. Scrambled the start, then used a counter balance abseil from a spike to get down a tricky step, followed by a speedy bumslide to the bottom.
