III/IV. A winter line based on the summer line Grey Knotts Face. Start where the fence meets the crag. 1) Climb icy steps to the right of the fence to a terrace, go easily left along the terrace until below a chimney 2) Climb the chimney to a ledge. 3) The continuation chimney was not snowy or icy so climb easy ground on the left to below the top chimney gully 4) 55m Climb the excellent chimney gully to the top Rarely in condition, needs neve on the crag.

climbed a similar line, starting directly from the fence, then up right and back left to the chimney. climbed all the chimney to the top. crux chimney is prob worth IV 5. top route.
