I first read about Dragon and Gob 35 years ago and have wanted to do them ever since . Desire, good climbing, amazing situations, blue skies, good company and a view to die for combined to give one of my best mountain days ever.

Walked in, climbed Dragon, climbed Gob, walked out, fantastic 16 hour day. Had the crag to ourselves and perfect weather.

5 and 1/2 hours from leaving car to starting 1st pitch. Great route. Led pitches 2 and 4. Followed up by doing Gob which is even better. Walked out the same day.....16 hour round trip.
a bit scary at the top! vhard for the old hvs grade but will be remembered for a long time. get in there and do it.

Had to rest on gear on the crux overhang. Chris fell off on the crucial traverse, luckily, he had just figured out what a back rope was! Marvellous week, went in across Loch Maree, reduces the walk in considerably. Pete Cosgrove & Judith Cressey also on the trip.
Seconded the big pitch.
Walked in the afternoon before climbing the route and bivied. Completed this and other routes in supurb weather
