Forceful climbing up an eye-catching line. Start on the right of the raised ledge below a crack/corner.
1) 5a, 14m. The cracks and corner to a ledge and belay.
2) 5b, 30m. The leaning corner is sustained and leads to an easier wide chimney/groove. © Rockfax

5b. climb the crack. good runners, crux is at the top. belay at tree.

βeta: Got up to the large flake, but it looks so dodgy, loose rock behind it and hollow when you hit it, only gear is a nut next to a chock stone with doesn’t look secure. Next gear is good but quite far down. If the flake comes off you’re probably going to have a bit accident so down climbed and did the e1 which avoids it . Wouldn’t risk it

βeta: large loose flake on first pitch is getting pretty dangerous now, especially since your protection at the time is behind other loose blocks and you pretty much have to use the flake
