[Near the rest., 3 kb]18m. The crack in the L side of the arete with 2 cracks gives sustained climbing with continuously interesting moves. It is still a bit dirty and a few of the footholds are a touch crumbly on the surface but this detracts little from the interest. Start as for Riot but shuffle L along the ledge at 4 m to the foot of the crack. Start from the L and follow the crack to the top, sustained but with a good rest by the 4th bolt.

2nd ascent just after Colin did the 1st. I suggest 2*. Some might question this because it is a little dirty and crumbly (genuinely only a little) but the line is so good and the moves are so sustained and excellent that I stand by a 2* rating. Others can post their views in due course!
