Rockfax Description
Climb the steep arete and swing right to a steep crack (decent gear at last), layback strenuously up this to a rest. Step back left and follow a second crack to easier ground. © Rockfax

UKC Logbook Description
A good route up the blunt rib right of Cucumber Groove. Climb directly up the bulging start using a blunt spike which takes a (weighted) sling. Continue up to a very thin crack in a smooth wall. Swing R to another crack - good wires - and climb this strenuously to easier ground at a thin break. (It is possible at this point to sneak off left into finish of Cucumber Variant). Continue up direct to a crack just right - good wire - in a small alcove/roof. A long reach over this gains good holds and easier ground above

A good route deserves one star. Technical wall climbing with some fun moves. Gear was good all the way got more in than I thought I would.

A bit bold to start and finish, but some good climbing.

There is decent gear before the thin crack. You just need to look for it.
