Good value! Tricky in places, and probably more like D- than AD-! We climbed in approach shoes, as the approach was completely snow free.

with Nico Collonges. I lead the 2 hardest pitches (both 5b) in big boots, but the first of those i had to pull on a freind, (Nico had already backed off it). NTE. C2C has this doute as D not AD- rock is slabby Granite with tiny holds in places and in big boots can be really nerve wracking, esp 1 downclimb on a slab half way along the arete.

Walked in from Trient which is much longer but can be done. It is possible to descend the couloir on the Trient side with only one 30m abseil and then loose down climbing on the the Trient Glacier.
