I led P1,3,5 (pitches as in Broadbent guide). Low in the grade and not as good as black beauty.

Got pitches 2 and 4 (as described in Broadbent guide - first belay at top of chimney). Second pitch great, somewhat reminiscent of bottom of The Hill.... Bit random higher up. Someone suggested it might be worth linking bottom 2 of this with the better top pitches of Black Beauty. Left bags at base of route for some reason and had to deal with dense spikes in the dark!

First two pitches are pretty good. It's never three stars, though

P1 great then a bit undefined

P2. P4 was not 4c as in the guide. More like a scramble.

Led pitches 1 and 3. Pitch one was probably the crux and involved a dyno for me. Have never dyno'd in trad before so it was a rather exciting climb. Pitch 2 was nice too with a few bulges to haul yourself over.

Val leads first pitch - lead the rest. Good route but not quite the 3 start classic as line gets a bit vague higher up
