More like 200 metres. Got off route drifting left of centre to some good protected mixed climbing at half height. Below that the heather turf climbing is sparsely protected and not fully frozen yet.

I lead first pitch, soft snow, little protection available or needed. Jaz Lead 2nd pitch. More interesting near the top!
Highball_Mike - AltLd O/S - 07/Jan/10 with Jaz Bughan

not sure about 100m! we ran out 3.5 rope lengths from bottom o buttress, topped out at the top of jacks rake.
twoplates - AltLd O/S - 05/Jan/10 with frith wood

Good route. Turf then rock. More like three 50m pitches.
greenroom - AltLd O/S - 05/Jan/10 with Tom Swannick

Lots of wet snow, luckily with frozen turf underneath where you needed it.
Shaw Brown - AltLd - 26/Dec/09 with cliff brown

We climbed some 70m to reach the tree, then another 70m with easier run out above. Turf was frozen but ther is a lot of heather which was less comforting. Above the chimney we went up the left edge, exposed above Little Gully
