Start 15m down and left of the chockstone at the bottom of D Gully. 1) Climb the Groove. 2) Traverse Left past 2 corners(20m.) 3) follow a line of chimneys to a cave. 40) Traverse right from the cave over easy gound to finish up Steeple Chase Groove. © ROCKFAX

The chimney pitches had nothing in them and therefore were overhanging and too narrow to take more than my knee (sadteims) so we diverted back right onto the buttress and went upwards.
