βeta: Johnny wanted to lead and I was happy to let him! We had both climbed the ordinary route previously so knew what to expect. Johnny soon reached the start of the Direct where he placed our meager selection of home made nuts [no Friends or Hexes in 1966]. He climbed the final crack in his normal effortless style...very impressive. I was pleased to follow on the blunt end. A tuff climb in those day's! | βeta? | ||
