Beautiful afternoon, west to east and then back again, nice for a bit of fun, high tide made it even better. Ended up quite high at times but was taking the easiest line . . .

Usual circuit of right to left and back again with a couple of juggy ups on the way. Had to time it between heavy rain showers and tide on way out which makes some bits seem high. Great work out.

Usual lap of right to left and back again with a few solos thrown in. Felt easier today as tide a bit lower than usual, and plenty of chalk on the holds! Super hot weather....

Hadn't planned on climbing this but the tide had decided I was going to, no knowledge of the route at all, nearly fell at one point and never been more terrified.. still awesome fun though.

Tide at a good height today, high enough but not too high to make it hard. Did the usual right to left and back with a few extras thrown in, good workout...

Completely different when the tide is out, much easier than at high tide but there is quite a high section in the middle. About VS....

Timed it perfectly for a high spring tide, still wouldn't want to fall in though! Lovely sustained climbing, went both ways in the end, but more like HVS 5b I reckon especially if you stay low around Pain Pillar. Seemed harder going left to right though I was pretty pumped by then...not bad effort from 7 month pregnant lady though she retreated when it got tricky at Pain Pillar!

R-L. Got a little higher than I'd have liked around pain pillar, with the tide on its way out

Great route, quite tricky in places at high tide especially in the low light.

A bit tricky around Saracen and Toerag's wall, but the will to stay dry pulled me through

enjoyable, though I did meander up and down a bit.

Ace. Done with tide in as suggested in guidebook (though water not all that deep). A few tricky bits, and falling would be quite undesirable! Good seaside adventure :)

Done when the tide was right up - absolutely fantastic. Water is deep enough to fall into. Stay low below pain pillar to pull round a blank section using a crimp sidepull for LH and some smooth RH holds. Fell in there! Hard! (V2)
