traversed left below steep corner and then had a sketchy move or two on slabs to get back into gully! luckyjim - Solo - 13/Apr/13
Got to some vertical powder at the crux(?) and downclimbed. Was good until that bit. RedFox - Solo dnf - 13/Feb/12

Desciptions of this route seem to vary! We went straight up the gully on neve and two (or maybe three) ice steps for full 50m rope length. Didn't pass any chockstones. Belayed at the right of what we thought would have been the 'ice column' but there was a 3m section of vertical rock. Descended slightly here and took 15m traverse to left, then back right up ramp. Ramp turned out to be slabbly and covered with powder / unfrozen turf. Decided to bail out at this point - managed to get back down near start on one abseil. Hidden - AltLd dog - 12/Feb/11
There was a fair amount of ice that was solid enough, but the snow was too fresh and didn't hold you weight. Belayed about 10m below the chockstone. Whilst sorting gear, numb-nuts climbing partner dropped his rucksack, which fell all of the way back to the start. No alternative but to abseil off. Two large nuts left behind, anyone care to return them? Karlos - 2nd dnf - 26/Nov/10 with Mark B
Captain Solo - Solo - 11/Dec/09
Snow and ice on first pitch was somewhat slushy, and the steep ice of pitch two was non-existant. Given late hour we opted to abseil down after pitch 1 rather than climb mixed ground on the left. Karlos - Lead dnf - 05/Apr/09 with Mark B
