This climb would be a great multi pitch option when dry, however due to large amount of rain, the surface soil has washed down the majority of routes making the use of "Stickies" fairly useless. 1st Pitch to tree belay, before climbing to the top and backwards to large tree belay. Due to condition of the rock, this would definitely be a HVD

Climbed as a three for the first time. Good experience for next climbing course. It made me a lot more about stance management. Good probleme solving. I led the long first pitch, Sarah took the second short one up the arete. The first pitch felt pretty tough for the grade - route-finding far from obvious (though I suppose you can follow the polish to some extent), and you don't get much of a view until the very top of it. The 10m second pitch is good fun, and straightforward.

Really good climb being my first day outdoor climbing. It did start to rain halfway up which made it a bit slippery on foot holds. Found a couple of tricky grips but that’s why it’s a VD. But once you get to the top and actor off the view is absolutely amazing. Deffo well worth the climb!!!!

Hilarious, Possibly my first lead and climbing with Charlie, James came along for the ride and to check on my gear placements in trainers and with a bowline round his waist. Thought I was going to run out of gear on the first pitch so I larksfooted lots of placements with really fat 40 mm slings! We'd been canoeing in the morning because it was raining and in the process Charlie had downed 5 cans of Irish stout. When we got to the walk back bit before the last pitch James buggered off and left me with Charlie who led the last pitch. He topped out OK but then was completely confuddled about building the belay (no doubt due to the consumption of the stout). After 45 mins of waiting I asked him if he was OK and he said yes becase Ian had turned up to help him. After an hour and a half I topped out and asked him what had happened, Oh he said - I built the belay then Ian came over and told me it was a load of shite so I had to build it again. Happy days!
