Note - Pitch 3 has a really dodgy large loose block which has been reported by several log entries. If it were to come out it could do serious damage on the Greta / Zelda stance or below. It is easily avoidable if you are aware.

Ash Sayers - Lead O/S - 24/Aug/14

So much for a chilled HS multi-pitch to end the day. P1 was OK but more run out than expected. P2 is fine. P3 is a run out death trap for the grade - that loose stack of blocks needs to go! Never found the hidden peg so no idea if it's gone or we simply went off route. VS 4b?
cdpuk - AltLd O/S - 23/Aug/14 with Stuart

Quite run out but easy climbing.
sara n - AltLd O/S - 20/Jul/14 with Paul Wolf

rhys.nadin - 2nd O/S - Jul/14 with Richard Nadin and Rob Scheichl

Hidden - AltLd - 19/Jun/14

I went off route on the 2nd pitch which didnt help things but would say this climb is hard for the grade
AngelaC - AltLd - 19/Jun/14 with Alex, Jeremy

PS P1 + P2, AB P3. Pitch one is interesting... no gear for quite a while. Massive loose block on P3, it could do with being safely taken down as it is direcly above the belay stance for Greta and Zelda. Couldn't find the 'hidden peg' on P3, off route maybe?

Melonfly - 2nd O/S - Apr/14 with Caleb

Bold and Dangerous. On first pitch (10 meters up with no runners) entire ledge I was standing on collapsed away. Just about managed to cling on. Terrifying. A few minutes later, a second ledge in the corner cracked and detached from the wall but thankful didnt break off (will do shortly). Extremely friable rock. Not to mention the huge death block wobbling directly over the 2nd belay. The route had several 10 meter run outs over manky pegs. Fully worth VS. I'd pity the HS leader who found themselves on this. A serious route.
Kemics - Lead O/S - 09/Mar/14 with Mel

Felt a bit trippy on the wet rock that plastered this route. Maybe better in the summer!
Ian JL - Lead O/S - 16/Nov/13 with Beth Frampton

Hidden - 2nd - 16/Nov/13

first two pitches OK -though start quite slippery and initially protection sparse. went wrong way on 3rd pitch, climbed back part way, sun setting - scrambled to top across ledges to left as light failed
gregclarke - Lead dnf - 06/Oct/13 with Ygraine

Ygraine - 2nd - 06/Oct/13 with Greg

An interesting expedition! led pitch 1 which seems quite bold - no gear on the traverse. Pitch 2 steep and reachy led by Duncan. The peg was fine but you need to be 5'7" or taller to clip it. I couldn't reach at all! Bill gave up on Pitch 3 and headed for the undergrowth. Scary gardening.
Babika - AltLd - 10/Aug/13 with duncan skelton, Bill Thurston

Not really worth the effort. Nasty loose blocks all over. Probably under graded - I wouldn't send an HS leader up this.
LJC - AltLd O/S - 10/Aug/13 with ben.richards

ben.richards - AltLd O/S - 10/Aug/13 with Luca Celano

Cam't see how this gets a star. Very slimy and indistinct start from the Pit. 2nd pitch OK. 3rd pitch wandery amd ended belaying in a thorn bush and then bailed from a neighouring tree, not fancying the chossy exit.

neilwiltshire - AltLd O/S - 29/Jun/13 with Josh Phipps

riff156 - Lead rpt - 27/Jun/13 with Jo Smith

Good climb spoilt by a scrappy and indeterminate 3rd pitch. The hidden peg on this pitch stayed hidden for me too. You'd be well advised to finish up pitch 2 of Zelda, you won't miss much.
Bobling - AltLd - 26/Jun/13 with Andy again

Fab climb. Some nice moves mid second pitch even if gear abit thin here. As forthe hidden peg on the second pitch ....well it was hidden. didnt find it. Rob took pitch 1 an 3
kiwi boy - AltLd O/S - 26/Jun/13 with rob

Scary traverse on pitch 1.
Neil Henson - 2nd - 16/Jun/13 with Mo Walker

waited till 1st pitch was dry. Then found scratched arrows on 1st belay, Why? its obvious which way to go. top 'hidden' peg has gone.
MoWalker3 - 16/Jun/13 with neilH

Very hard to navigate. 3rd pitch was easy but massively run out: couldn't find the hidden peg. Got lost and bailed on this many years ago. Great to finally get to the top.
JamesColeman - AltLd - Jun/13 with Gordon

not as good as its neighbour Zelda. A bit dirty in praces with some good climbing but some bush whacking as well. Led 1st and 3rd
darren hudson - AltLd O/S - 20/May/13 with Dave Wynne jones

With a pack at the end of the day, which made it a little more challenging. Found it a bit broken and wandering, but a decent journey up the cliff
Dr Toph - Solo O/S - 02/Mar/13

Climbed as a three. I lead the first pitch. The leader went way off route to the left on the top pitch. Lots of fun with three of us cuddling together on the first belay ledge. Shared the belay with another pair climbing Zelda (KitRabbette?). Sorry if we slowed you guys down!

neilwiltshire - AltLd O/S - 22/Sep/12 with Nick Dedekind

V bold start long run out on the traverse. Take a wing and ya decking. Bold move onto the wall. Good peg runner. Second pitch is challenging but v good. third is interesting if you move slightly to far left. regained and found another old peg runner.
jaycloth16 - Lead rpt - 15/Sep/12 with Jan Matthews

Mike Hood - Lead - 07/Sep/12

Same grade as Zelda but felt bolder and more committing. Nice one guys
Mick Riley - 2nd O/S - 11/Aug/12 with Bob thomas, Dominic

Always feels a little scary to solo this one. Especially when you break a foot hold and it goes flying off!
Chris Sansum - Solo rpt - 10/Aug/12

Anthony Dixon - Lead - 25/Jul/12

Difficult for the grade. 1st pitch is very awkward. 2nd and 3rd are better.

demarcation86 - AltLd - 15/Jul/12 with Paul

Led pitches 1&3. Large block on p3 almost came out.
AndyMcCoy - AltLd - 31/May/12 with Tony Raphael, Rosy

No soft touch for HS 4b. There is a large loose block on the second pitch that would once have been a brilliant jug, but is now a dangerous distraction.
RosyR - 2nd - 31/May/12 with Andy McC, Tony R

John led p1 and p3.pitch 1 was a little interesting,p2 was exposed and very little gear:hard for the grade i felt.pitch 3 was shite.all in all it was only the multipitch experience that made it worth while as the climbing was some what lacking!Zelda is far nicer from memory and easier!
jon_gill1 - AltLd O/S - 27/May/12 with john beardmore

Me: 1st and 3rd pitchs. Jon: 2nd pitch. The first pitch is very bold (for the grade) off the ground to the first gear. I was very happy that I was not just an HS leader on this.

Lead second pitch, seconded first and third. Dropped a set of nuts on Hannah when placing my first piece on the second pitch after they magicly became detached, impressively she caught them and I went back down and got them. I also got very lost on the second pitch but eventually managed to find the shared belay point. Whilst at the belay stance a Chinook flew below us down the valley.
WillRees - AltLd O/S - 16/May/12 with Hannah Scott

Dave p1&3, me p2, Great climb, Nothing technically outragious for 4b, but that start is still well scary. Note - there id a huge block on p2 that isn't long for this world, nor will be anyone beneath it.
PaulWatson - AltLd rpt - 13/May/12 with Dave P

Led the last pitch - first pitch a bit dirty - second pitch has some interesting moves including a lovely wide move right onto a ledge. Beautiful day and an enjoyable climb.
Mistee - AltLd O/S - 29/Mar/12 with Phil

Definitely a 2** climb. The holds are mostly positive and seem to appear from nowhere at times. If the very popular Zelda is using the belay station, there's a very solid tree adjacent.

very slimy at bottom but good climbing higher up

Me P1, Andy P2, cocked up last pitch going up left through a jungle.
KDW - AltLd dnf - 02/Jul/11 with Andy

Tough Climb!! Karl did 1st I tried 2nd and then wimped out so Karl manned up and did it. I did 3rd, went horribly off route, found a loose block above rubbish gear. Finally gratefully got to the top. Would say top of the grade (or maybe on an off day)

Three pitch climb - Darren leading, and me tailing behind. Nothing TOOO horrendous, but standing on tiny ledge belaying Darren up ahead...
