A two day ski mountaineering traverse via the Conscrits Refuge. We were roped as a single team on the main ridge section. On the descent, at between 2500 and 3000m, I had a twisting fall and my right binding failed to release. I was choppered off to Chamonix by the PGHM.

From Conscrits hut( 4 am start) along the tre-la-tete glacier to Col de domes easy going then over the domes Superb snow route fantastic views we had great weather descended via glacier Armancette rather than continue over Aig de la Berangere, Beautiful if not varied descent back to valley at Le Cugnon. Long day with lots of descent about 2700 metres in all!
