Climbed after doing Tower Slabs and descending the easy gully left of Hidden Gully. Conditions were ok, snow was frozen nicely higher up.

Wandered up to Clogwyn Ddu after doing Cneifion Stream. Poor visibility and unconsolidated snow. Went up this to get to the top - easy snow and no ice, so grade I. Holly was happy soloing with one axe, which was pretty brave for her second ever winter route. Saw Su and Phil finishing Clefy Gully over to the right. Decided to head down via the Devil's Kitchen path but lost sense of direction on the plateau and ended up back where Phil was belaying!!! Walked off in the rain but just about missed the worst of it. Bumped into Paul and Sam on the way down.

Have been wanting to do this since last season but have never had time as always seem to finish Clogwyn Ddu routes shortly before or in the dark. Walked over at a brisk pace from Y Garn after doing C Gully there. The walk up to Glyder Fawr was probably the hardest bit as the gully itself was disappointingly straightforward: neve almost all the way, tiny bits of ice higher up. It must be quite a bit more interesting if fully iced up.

Very atmospheric narrow gully with a couple of ice covered chockstones to add interest. Really fun classy gully climb done alpine style. very solid at the grade in the conditions.

Tough slog through Cwn Cneifon to get there. Decided to skirt up the edge of the rock instead of using Easy Route as the snow was so soft and powdery. The gully hadn't been touch and looked great, couple of steps but pretty simple and great topping out onto of Glyder Fawr.
